Please remember, web site projects will be marked during the first week of September, and I am looking for the following.

Your idea...web site must be on a topic of your choosing
Depth of content... I expect web site to have at least 2 pages in addition to the home page.
Gallery Your web site should use at lease one gallery to display images
Contact form ...a working contact me form must be inlcuded if you want me to email your project mark (out of 30)
HTML..I expect to see some examples of the use of HTML, such as text formatting, hypertext links and/or inclusion of images in your pages.

A. Introduction
This module is designed to ensure that students’ success in their working environment is augmented by solid basic knowledge of computers and their applications.

This knowledge will be provided by…

    Developing an understanding of computer hardware, and the part played by key components and accessories.
    Ensuring that students are able to use the Internet to communicate, gather information and promote themselves and/or their business.

B. Aims & Objectives
Completion of the course will enable students to understand the use of computers in business. They will also be familiar with much of the jargon used in the computer industry.

C. Teaching Methods
Time: 3 hrs per week, using a combination of Lectures, Demonstrations and Practical Activities.

D. Assessment
Exams 70%
Project 30%

Exams will be as follows:-
Mid Semester Test (week7) 20%
Final Exam (week 13) 50%
